Terms and privacy
This document says two things: who we are and what we do with the data you trust us with, and on what terms Klar76 is used. It is written to be read, not to be signed unread.
In force since 2026-08-30
Who we are
Klar76 is operated by the person identified below. They are the data controller under the Swiss FADP and the GDPR, and they are who you write to about anything in this document.
What data lives in Klar76
What the company puts there, and nothing else. In practice: your customers (name, address, contact, contracts and invoices), your staff (name, contact, hours, absences and any documents the company uploads), the work (jobs, tasks, photos, reported problems, keys handed over) and the supplies. The subscribing company is the controller of this data; we are the processor that stores it and makes it usable.
We buy data from nobody, sell it to nobody, and use it for no advertising — ours or anyone else’s. There are no advertising trackers and no user profiling in this application.
Where the data is kept
The application and the database run in Frankfurt, Germany. Files — job photos, staff documents — are held in Cloudflare R2 storage with European jurisdiction. The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Everything is encrypted in transit, and none of it leaves Europe in normal operation.
There are daily backups with history, and the restore has been rehearsed — a backup never restored is not a backup, it is a hope.
Who else touches the data
Four suppliers, and each one sees only what it needs to do its part:
- Render (Germany) — runs the application and the database.
- Cloudflare (EU jurisdiction) — holds the files, serves the site and counts visits to the sales page, without cookies and without identifying anyone.
- Stripe — charges the subscription. Card details go straight to Stripe and never pass through us; we keep only the customer reference and the subscription status.
- Brevo (France) — sends the application’s email: confirmations, password recovery, invoices and quotes sent to your customers.
There is nobody else. If one day there is, this document changes first — not afterwards.
Who sees what, inside the app
Every request is scoped to the company of whoever signed in: no screen can show another company’s data, not by accident and not by a guessed address. Inside the company, people working in the field see their own day and their own hours — never prices, never invoices, never the customer list. And actions that touch money or hours are logged with who did them and when.
Leaving, exporting, deleting
Export is a button inside the app, not an email request: customers, jobs, hours and invoices come out in files that open anywhere, and uploaded files download too. The subscription cancels itself, in the billing portal, without talking to anyone.
Anyone whose data is in the app — the company’s staff, and its customers — can ask to see, correct or delete it. That request goes to the subscribing company, which is the controller; if it reaches us, we forward it and help carry it out. Once an account is deleted, the data is removed from the live systems, and backups containing it expire on their normal cycle.
Terms of use
- What is being bought. Access to Klar76 on a monthly subscription, at the tier matching the number of active people in the account. The price is on the home page and does not change mid-period.
- The trial. Fourteen days, no card. If no subscription follows, the account stops giving access; the data is kept for thirty days and can be exported within that time.
- Cancelling. Whenever you want, on your own, in the billing portal. Access continues to the end of the period already paid, and there is no renewal after it. There is no minimum term and no exit fee.
- What the app is not. It is not payroll software and not accounting software. It counts hours and supplements and exports them; the 13th salary, social charges and withholding tax belong to whoever runs payroll. Invoices follow Swiss rules, but the company answers for its own accounting.
- Availability. We do what we can to keep the service up and the backups current, and we say when something goes wrong. We do not promise an uptime figure we cannot prove.
- Governing law. Swiss law, and the forum is the seat of the company named above.
Writing to us
